Hello, I'm Janet
I’m a contemporary embroidery and textile artist who creates intricate and sometimes bold embroidery designs and I have discovered that wherever I am with my hoop in hand the happier I am and the wonderful conversations it attracts.
I take inspiration from the world around me and from other artists in various fields. The thing I most enjoy about working with fabric and thread is the creativity and stories I can depict with them is endless and that is so exciting!

"I met Janet through a local knitting group only she bought along her embroidery. I asked if she had done many pieces that were her own design and I was blown away with the detail in each piece and her hard work. I asked if she would do one for me. We chatted some more and she asked what I liked and what colours. I wanted a stream and flowers and blue sky.
